Replication problems

Because replication fails in my application, i made some test to know why it fails.I created a test database and few test documents. There was one editable readers field and one editable authors field, and one more computed authors field with value “[Admin]”. There was two servers: serverA 6.5.2 on win2000 and serverB 6.0.2CF2 on linux red hat 9. User X create a test doc on serverB, with value in readers field “CN=* LastName/O=Org”, second authors field contains of course [Admin] role.

Problem:

That user in readers field can see that doc, but only on serverB. He cant replicate that doc to serverA, even if he has Admin role. After modified readers field to value “*/O=Org” user can replicate to serverA, and everything is ok.

Questions:

  1. why user cant replicate(but can see) doc with “CN=* LastName/O=Org” value in readers field, and can with “*/O=Org” value ?

  2. why he cant replicate that doc even if he had Admin role(Admin role was in authors field) ?
