I can not replicate from the primary directory Domino server to the second domino server. But I can replicate from the second server to the primary directory domino server
I installed 2 domino servers.
-
the first one is called Domino6Lab/lab where rside the Primary Directory. It is installed on a laptop with XP prof called “newserer”

the second is called zv5000/lab where reside the configuration directory. It is installed on laptop with XP home called “oldserver”.
On both laptop I create a lmhost.sam file where I defined the ip_address wiht the netbios name (expl: 192.168.x.x newserver.Domino6Lab; 192.168.x.y oldserver.zv5000)
Both Domino server are certifed with the same certifier called “lab”
When I enter the command on the server console “replicate Domino6Lab/lab names.nsf” from the zv5000 Domino server (oldserver), the replication works fine.
But when I entered the same command from the Domino6Lab server (where reside the Primary Directory) the replication failed. An error stats: “unable to replicate with server zv5000/lab: the remote server is not a know TCP/IP host”
However I create a lmhost file.
Should I create a connection document even if the both server reside in the same OU?
What did I miss?
Should I name my Domino server as is call my laptop/server?
