Hi Guys,
I am getting some strange problems during replication. I have form1 and form2 documents on server. If i replicate to a local copy. form1 documents are getting deleted in the server copy. form2 documents stays in both the server and local. Please give me a solution . Its quiet urgent .

Form1 has a readers field and the server is not mentioned in this field and therefore officially can’t see these documents. Therefore your local client who can see these documents as the user is mentioned in the readers field replicates the documents to local and deletes them on the server who is not allowed to see the documents.This is how it works in practice, but of course I don’t know if this is your case. If it is, the solution is simple: Make sure the server is in the readers field (or preferably: gets the role which is mentioned in the readers field) of Form1 docs.

THanks for ur response. Infact i didnt have readers field in the document before. But after reading yr response i added a readers field and entered server name, all the roles mentioned in the other forms readers field etc. But still it gets deleted. What am i missing now ? This is driving me crazy for the past 2 days

JY, i know i can have only post. But sorry for the trouble. The problem is quiet urgent though and i got to fix this in couple of hours. Hope u can understand my urgency.
