Since couple of months, I have been seeing some replication issues (I think)
Users make changes to document and save and close. Sometimes within few minutes the changes are gone. Any idea what could be causing this? This does happen randomly, does not happen all the time.
I have checked the access levels, author fields etc. All seem to be working fine. Just the fact that this does not happen all the times proves it as well.
I am suspecting replication to be the cause. Can anyone shed some light? I know this is something hard to suggest anything! Very frustrating…
Subject: Replication issue?
Sudhakar, We need more information to shed some help for you. It might not be a replication problem. How are you saving the document ?
If u are using lotusscript in “query save”, sometimes the document object gets corrupted. I faced this problem once because i have declared document object in query open for some purpose.
Confirm if the save and close works properly.
If u still guess replication is causing this problem, you might have to explain us how the replication settings are set.

Thanks Rajesh
I think Save and Close does work fine. Its only occasional that the saved changes are not there after a while. But I do have tones of code in ‘Query Save’ of various subforms.
I do not have any special settings for replication as well. The entire database is replicated across geos. Replication is set for every 15 minutes.
Thank you
