Replication History reverting back 20 years - Solution

Hello to anyone that this might help.

We had an issue where our replication history was setting itself back 20 years. We worked out that this was occurring during a fixup on the database and was a result of a corrupted document/s.

Domino was producing the error:

24/08/2008 08:22:54 PM Document NT00559E96 in database d:\databasefilepath is damaged: Document has been modified or corrupted since signed! (extended signature)

24/08/2008 08:22:54 PM Document (UNID OF792402AC:C5F8AED0-ONCA2574AC:00123357) in database d:\databasefilepath has been deleted

24/08/2008 08:24:25 PM Document NT004EC0E6 in database d:\databasefilepath is damaged: Document has been modified or corrupted since signed! (extended signature)

24/08/2008 08:24:25 PM Document (UNID OFF837AD47:613D7D2F-ONCA25747A:0020441B) in database d:\databasefilepath has been deleted

After we deleted these documents from the replica’s, the fixup ran smoothly again. I hope this helps someone.

BTW: We have a ticket with IBM support for this and have provided them with the corrupted documents in the hope that they are able to work out why these had the issue.
