I have a user who is trying to replicate his mail file between Local and the mail server. When he initially set it up it replicated normally. But subsequent attempts cause the error “Replication error: could not open ID file”.
Any ideas on what’s causing this or where to find more info about it?

Haven’t seen this before. Here is what I would check.
(1) Locate his shortname.id file - Note the full format of the name First M Name/unit/Org
(2) Look at the notes.ini - make sure it’s the same. (Also check this is the one being used)
(3) Look at the connection document - does it have the ID file listed and pointing where?
All else fails, create a new replica.
