Replication Dilema

I need to disable replication for all clients and all servers with the exception of Server A & Server B. Does anyone have any idea how to do this?

Thanks

You can limit replication in the ACL of each database. Another option is to limit access to the server in the Security tab on the server documents. It would be nice if there was a server setting for “Allow to replicate”, but there isn’t as far as I know.

Restrict replication in the ACL? How is this possible?

The role “copy or replicate documents”

Do you know where any documentation is for this feature? ALso, what version of Notes?

Subject: RE: Thanks!

I’m not sure what kind of documentation you’re looking for, but it should be covered in the Admin help. All you do is set Default to No Access and uncheck the box for “Replicate or copy documents”. This is a new feature in ND6.

Hope that helps,

What version of Notes?

What version of forum, Freud?

Is there even the slightest possibility that one day, even one of your oh-so-sarcastic responses could actually contain some valid informational content?

I just had a quick look at your posting history - all you seem capable of doing is abusing people who are asking for information. If you’re so brilliant, then why not try actually answering a few questions instead of making smart-assed comments?

That kind-of makes it worse - it means he’s going out of his way to do it. And he doesn’t have the cojones to put his real name to his comments and take the consequences.

You could also disable replication in the replication settings for each database then no server or client can replicate that database.
