We are installing upgrades from Notes 5 to Notes 6.The server is a domino release 6.5.1 on AS/400.
We have one user when she log’s in to Notes and the client starts to replicate the complete server crashes.
When we disable the replication al works fine.
We need the replication for the roaming user so leaving it disabled is no solution.
I for one am stuned how just one user can completely crashes a domino server.
Luckely it is only this one user…
Any help on this?

I’m going to sound like Lotus here, but have you run fixup, updall, and compact on the mail file. You may also want to delete the local replica and create a new one after running the utilities on the server replica.

Sorry for leaving out the steps we took already. So here is a summary:
fixedup and updalled the names.nsf from the server and the bookmark.nsf and names.nsf in the roaming directory.
We copy and pasted the users document and removed the origional one.
Removed the installation directory on the local machine and installed the client again.
The old user is on windows NT and the new environment is Windows XP and we have the same problem. (we where hoping it was client related)
So we have done the “Lotus Notes” way and are still having the problem…
The user is still working on Windows NT with replication disabled, and we are testing this problem on the new environment.
