Replication Confusion

Since I now have the use the replicator to synchronize contacts, I have a policy setting to accomplish this however when I view the replicator page at user desks, I’m seeing conflicting data.

For example, if I look at the application itself (on the replicator page) it says last run 8:00 AM 6/23.

But if I look at the bottom of the replicator page, just above the status bar it says “last replication ran at 10:43 Today, next replication is at 6:00 PM Today”.

If I look in the log.nsf on the pc it says the last replication occurred at 8:00 am on 6/23.

So why does the data above the status bar say it replicated today? And couldn’t ‘Today’ be replaced with an actual date value?

So the end result is that I don’t know if users are actually replicating their contacts without visiting every desk to review the log and the replicator page.

(And as an aside, I’m not impressed with the need for every user to have to enable the contacts to be viewed on the replicator page, and then having the user have to go to the replicator page to enable replication. I’d think this should be done by default during the upgrade…)

Subject: Additonal comment

Also, the policy setting is set to perform the replication Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 6 PM.

So why didn’t the replication occur on 6/24 or 6/25? I’ve logged on to that pc on both days…
