I’ve been getting quite a lot of replication conflicts in my names.nsf recently.
Our administration server is R6, 2 other servers are R6, the rest (10 other servers) is using R5.
The only difference between the ‘normal’ person document and the replication conflict is the ‘Last updated’ field in the Administration-tab. For some reason, the document are being updated by two of our R5 servers (for no apparent reason… nothing is changed in the documents), this results in the replication conflicts.
I hope this is clear.
Anyone got an idea what is causing this? Why are only those two servers ‘changing’ the documents?
Thanks in advance,
Remco
Subject: replication conflicts in Domino Directory
I will take a stab at this. I would say the problem is because there are conflicting servers who are the Administrative server in the ACL. The domino directory should only have one administrative server and that server entry should exist on every server document.
So I would review the ACL first.

yes! I think that’s it. The two servers are both listed as manager in the ACL of their replica.
So only the administration server should be in the ACL of names.nsf? (besides a bunch of users of course) And what about LocalDomainServer?
Thanks

Check for agents that run on more than one server as well.
