Replicate emails database problem

does lotus notes client-server replication mark the new emails which send from recepient himself as read automaticly.

I found all the mails send from me to myself mark as read after I replicate them from server.

is this a default setting on lotus notes.

another thing is when sending a mail to a group which the sender is in the group, the sender would not receive the email.

is this also a default setting on lotus notes

No, not in my experience.

RE: I found all the mails send from me to myself mark as read after I replicate them from server. is this a default setting on lotus notes.

I haven’t seen this, either. You might want to look at the database properties, design tab (4th), at the “Do not mark modified documents as unread” option. Play with that option and see if that helps.

Yes. That is a feature that has been discussed before. (Reasoning: If you are sending the message, why add overhead by requiring the router to send it back to you? Just save a copy.)
