hi!situation:we have a domino server in our LAN, an authentification server in our DMZ allowing
or not for distant clients to get connected with our domino server.
Replication doesn’t work anymore on some databases.
Client is configured well, is able to contact the domino server through the
authentification server and can get all informations it needs to know.
example : our paris’ shop
there’s 5 different replications to do ( not planned). they are performed by going to the page
“replication” and are ticked.
4 out of 5 work perfectly. ( 3 annuary database and a mail database)
the fifth is a different maildatabase.
Everythins seems to start well and suddenly, the client gets the message
"distant host doesn't answer anymore."
connection seems broken.
All i get on the client is a small replication (3 MO instead of 50 mo for example)
which obviously doesn’t work…
i can’t figure out why this database has failed.
I’ve already tried to delete the replica and created a new one pointing towards a new file on the
client, but it hasn’t worked.
Can spam or virus on the database can make a replication failed?
