Hi All,
I have allowed my users to crate local replicas of the Domino Directory. I want the replication to happen one way(Server → Local)
How could this be done?

Take a look at Admin help on the topic of Mobile Directory Catalogs. These condensed version of the Directory are more lightweight for users to have on their local machine and it might be a good fit for you (and obviates the issues of directional replication for your real directory).
Subject: Replicate names
If you kept all users with default access rights : Author, not creating documents you don’t need to worry, they can not make changes in names other then their personal data. On the other hand, i have seen big problems with one way replication, or restricted replication.
