Good Morning,I have just upgraded my notes from 5.0.11 to 6. I was able to replace the mail design but whenever I try to upgrade the design of my folders it doesn’t do anything. They just stay the same. I have closed notes down and tried again several times and still nothing. I had my mail open when I had it upgrade the folder design and that is why it won’t replace them for me now. I was wandering if there was any way to fix this. Any help would be appreciated.

How are you trying to upgrade your folder design? Using a design refresh/replace? Or are you using the “Upgrade Folder Design” method, located under the Actions menu for your mail file?

I am using the upgrade folder design. I did it with mail open the first time and I think that is what messed it up.

Do a design replace on the whole mailfile and then do the folder upgrade again.

I have already done that and still didn’t work. I am wandering if I should just uninstall it and reinstall to see what it does.

Hmmm - can you check your mailfile in Designer and see if the ‘Prohibit refresh/replace’ flag is set for your folders?

Steve,Thanks for all your help. Checked the designer to see if the box was checked to prohibit refresh/replace and it was not. So I changed my mail back to local and refreshed it then changed it back to the server and refreshed it again and it works finally. Who knew that would work. Again, thanks for all your help.
