Replace standard form for documents

Hello,

I made an update of the current used form of out application. So U have 2 form (old and new)

Now I want to replace the old documents layout with this new form.

I made an agent that replaced the “Form” field, but then all my data is gone.

Is there another way to achieve this?

are you sure your data is gone? perhaps you’ve specified the ‘old’ form to be displayed in the views…

but why so complicated?

Just rename the old form to another name and rename the new form to the old name:

OldForm → ObsoleteForm

NewForm → OldForm
