Replace Design - Not Authorized Message

I want to replace my design in Notes 7 and I get a message that I am not authorized to perform that operation. Is there any way around this?

You must be a Designer (or Manager) for the database in order to modify it’s design.

What’s your access for the database in question ?

What level of access and the privilages (in ACL) , the ID has to the database, which you have used to login?
