Replace database icon on workspace

Hello,

I have a requirement whose details are as under.

We have one database A on Server 1.

There is a new database B created on Server 2. Database A and B are not replicas. Now when the user clicks the database A’s icon on his workspace two operations should be perfomed.

  1. Database B should open up and

  2. The icon of Database A on the workspace should be removed and replaced with the icon of new Database B.

Is there any method of doing this.

If your requirement is just to remove old icon and create new icon Try this.

Send a mail with button to the user and after clicking the button old icon will be removed and new icon will be added on to the workspace.

@Command([AddDatabase]; “Server 1”:“database A”);

@Command([WindowWorkspace]);

@Command([FileDatabaseRemove]);

REM " Add New Database Icon to the workspace";

@PostedCommand([AddDatabase]; “Server 2”:“database B”)
