My question is this:Does anyone know if the Getting Started page can be renamed and if so how can this be done?
It shows as “Getting Started” in the following areas:
The “Open” List
The title of the workspace tab
The title of the page in the top Notes
Background:
We are carrying out an automated upgrade from r5 to r8, when the client is upgraded the getting started page automatically displays in the first tab of the workspace page. Its not possible to stop this happening in r8.02 (it is possible in R8.5 apparently but we’re not going there yet)
We want to show the users a customised Help page instead of getting started. I can do this by updating the startedpage.html in the notes8\framework\shared\eclipse\plugins\com.ibm.notes.gettingstartedxxx directory but the title still shows as “Getting Started”. I’ve tried updating the element of the html page which didn’t work.
I’ve had a look at the plugin.properties and plugin.xml files and they make reference to “Getting Started”. So I changed these to something different but it still shows as “Getting Started” regardless of what I change it to.
Can anyone help please?
