Am I right in my understanding that this is not possible? If so, am I right in my understanding that I have to create a new room then manually enter all the existing meetings that were in the old room resource?
I wish there was a rename Resource option similar to the User rename function. It appears at first that you can do so when looking at the mail-in databases view, however when I return to the Resouce database, the room name does not change, there was no server processes running or waiting for approval that I could see.
I just want to make sure that I’m doing things right and there isn’t just a rename function that’ll take care of everything.
It is pretty tedious to deal with, but it probably doesn’t come up enough to automate such a process for the majority of administrators.
Unfortunately, it’s come up at my company on a few occasions now.
Anyway, any confirmations/suggestions are certainly welcome.
