So about a month ago I did a rename for a user who normally uses her Lotus Notes client instead of her iNotes. I had thought everything was done as I haven’t heard back from her until today. Come to find out that she has been using her iNotes instead of her client. Well, we don’t have id Files attached to the mailfiles for iNotes use. So the rename process ran but it never updated her ID file, like it would if she were using her LN Client.
Is there a way to get the ID file updated still? I don’t see the process anymore in the Adminp.nsf
Her new name and internet address are in effect in the Domino Directory, but her ID file still has her old name. She can’t access her email because she’s not authorized, which makes sense because new username is in the ACL and I can’t add her old username to it, because it’s not in the Dom directory.
Any assistance you can offer is greatly appreciated.
