Removing Hide when formula for Out of Office

Are there any negative consequences from just removing the Hide-when formula from the out of office action that prevents the agent from being shown to anybody but the mail file owner?

It would be far more convenient to remove the formula than changing the mail file owner each time we need to set the OOO for someone else.

PS. Lotus/Iris, Are you going to provide delegation for this agent in the future or do you prefer to listen to us complain?

The last time I asked this very question in the forum, the only response I got was one against-policy-to-modify-the-mail-template post. Maybe your post will generate more opinions, though.
