I have need to copy a rich text field on a form to a second field (so it can be repositioned in read versus edit mode). I’m happy to use a button to copy the data…however…
Field A (initial field) is hidden in read mode
Field B (copy) is hidden in edit mode.
I can’t get rid of the hidewhen (in read mode) in field A when it is copied to field B. As a result Field B won’t show up in read mode. I’ve tried sections and using a space before the field, all to no avail. Any suggestions?

Subject: Removing hide when attribute to rich text field?
I am not sure I understand what your end goal is. Are you trying to replace the field with another? Are you just wanting to get the value from one field to another no matter the hide-when? Are you trying to empty one field and append to another? Know the end goal might help in this case. On the surface, it seems like what most people do is have one field editable and another a computed field populated with the data from the editable field then set hide-when formulas appropriately.
