Remove Chat button from 6.5.3 client

I’m trying to completely remove all aspects of Sametime/IM awareness from the 6.5.3 client.

I’ve added IM_No_Setup=1 to the notes.ini. Also tried IM_Disabled=1. But, the Chat button still appears in the Inbox.

Has IBM/Lotus added a checkbox OR is there anyway the client won’t see the Chat button?

Have you tried opening the mail template in Designer, hiding or deleting the Chat button in the Inbox, and then refreshing the mail dbs’ design with the modified template?
