We have created a databases to store documents for our Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. We would like to give different levels of security web access to this database to various consultants who are helping us with this project.
My question is: Can I create a group that will allow these consultants authenticated access to the database without having to set them up on our server?
I hope I have given enough information for this to make sense.
Subject: Remote Database Access
No. Whether the consultants are in your main address book or a secondary address book (see the Sandbox for a registration template), if they authenticate in any way at all (including home-spun name/password checking code) they still need to be “set up on your server”, and still require a license to access Domino.

“and still require a license to access Domino”
Unless the server is running the Utility license, which I think you just said yesterday.
