Remote Console is an IBM Lotus Notes Domino Application (for Releases 6.0 and above) that allows you – the Lotus Domino Administrator – to create a list of Lotus Domino Console Commands accessible via smartphones (including the iPhone and BlackBerry mobile devices) and web browsers (including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome).
You can maintain the list of Console Commands via the Lotus Notes Client application user interface (Admin Client), which gives you the ability to restrict access to individual Server and Command Documents. You can perform Remote Console Commands against defined Domino Servers via the Web Browser or Mobile Device application user interface (User Client).
Use your iPhone to restart a Domino Server. Use your BlackBerry to restart a stalled Mail Router. With Remote Console, you can maintain your IBM Lotus Domino Servers while on the road and away from the Lotus Domino Admin Client.

I dream of the day that this forum is clogged with posts about commercial products for Notes & Domino. Wouldn’t that be awesome? It would mean there ARE products for Notes & Domino.

Chris, while this may be useful, and others have mentioned their products in responses to help someone with a problem, I don’t think in all my years of reading this forum have I seen someone include the price of their product in the subject line. IMHO this isn’t the place for this kind of post.

I know you’ve submitted your super-cool remote console app to the business solutions catalog on Lotus Greenhouse (https://greenhouse.lotus.com/catalog). That IS currently the best IBM-hosted place to get the word out about your apps. I look forward to seeing it there, once approved, and seeing the download stats skyrocket!
Personally I’m glad he posted this as I’ve been looking for something exactly like this and don’t know that I ever would have found it if not for this post.
We’re currently working on revamping the forums, and I’ve created line item for us to make sure we include an easy way to get to the business solutions catalog.
And no, you won’t use the same authentication as this site. The business solutions catalog uses your Lotus Greenhouse ID/pw. I know this isn’t optimal and I hope to address that too at some point.
How is a site that apparently very few here are aware of the BEST place to advertise a utility such as this? Sounds just like another example of the typical IBM “hey, look at all the cool stuff we have, now…see if you can figure out where to find it” to me.

I certainly want to help make the solutions catalog easier to find as well as help publicize it. I’d appreciate any suggestions for places we could link to it, or publicize it. I’ll do what I can.
Subject: The issue is it could become the start of a trend. You post, then someone else posts, then someone else.
If you look through the forums over the years, my response has been pretty much the same to anyone who does it. Don’t. Responding to a question, with an answer and saying oh and by the way I have a product that does that, is very different to a blatant self promoting post IMHO.
A project that I published to OpenNTF that allows you to manage browser and channel push to your BlackBerry MDS enviornment and ultimately put Web App icons on your BlackBerry devices.
Another project that I published to OpenNTF that allows you to maintain your daily work schedule specific to categorized time management. Came complete with a Lotus Notes Client app and Lotus Notes Client Sidebar Widget.
An Email Merge/Mass-Mailer application that can be retro-fitted into your existing IBM Lotus Notes Domino Applications to support email notification-triggered workflow.
Probably not, since all of those are free. But I make a single post (across the 3 forums, granted) about something that - in all my years of giving away products - I have the audacity to SELL for $5…
Where else would I be able to reach consumers with a low-cost, priced-to-sell, product as an independent software developer?!
