Try Lotus iNotes anyway
It would be nice if there were an option to “Remember this choice” to avoid the prompt in the future. You’ve logged in at this point so it should be storeable in the mail file so it would be available no matter what computer you are accessing it from. (not a cookie approach)
I’ve been using Google Chrome and it works better than Firefox did and faster too.
I played with sending the user agent for firefox and it didn’t work and it’s unclear exactly how they are determining whether the browser is supported anyway.
There is actually a server NOTES.INI setting that was created for a site to have users not be bothered by the browser block message if they are satisfied with how well Chrome works with iNotes.
Thanks for the suggestion about remembering the Try Anyway decision for various browsers which aren’t supported.
if you set this in the notes.ini on your R8.5.1 or R8.5.2 server and restart the HTTP task you will no longer see the warning screen that it may be an unsupported browser.
