I have recently upgraded our mail server from 5.11 to 6.01 The upgrade went fine and startup was successful but now i have a problem with incoming emails. We can send outgoing and send internally but anything coming in produces the following error.
[05F0:0008-1300] 12/04/2003 16:48:35 SMTP Server [05F0:0008-1300] Mail from user@hotmail.com rejected for policy reasons. Sender is denied in your configuration.
FYI: we relay through a company called Messagelabs for our Virus checking.
Plz help as this one is rather urgent

This is defined in the configuration Document for your server.
Domino Directory: Configurations - Server - Configurations)
Check in the Router/SMTP-Restrictions and COntrols-SMTP inbound Controls your settings.
Maybe you activated DNS Blacklist filters…

No Blacklisting was turned off. And i removed any blocked emails from our deny list. I turned the relay off etc… After doing this and making sure that the directory lookup feature was on mail seemed to get past our relay host and into our server. But then it would go into a loop and spit the message back out with a failure notice.
