We have more than one domain for Notes. We have a designated SMTP server that sends mail to the internet and mail servers in the other domain have to send their internet mail to that server. However, I am going to bring up another SMTP mail server. Does anyone have a recommendation on if it is better to put multiple entries in the “Relay host for messages leaving the local internet domain” field on the configuration settings document or if its better to use a DNS name like outbound.intranet.com and have it resolve to both servers or to set up a smart host? Thanks!
