Reinstall Lotus Notes Client w/o configuration

Hi

I basically want to reinstall Lotus Notes Client 8.0.1 and I dont want to reconfigure it again. It should have all my settings as previously. How do I do it? What files to copy from previous install to new one? the previous one was also 8.0.1 client

notes.ini, desktop8.nsf, bookmarks, names, user.dic, -

This will help us out as well. We are always swapping out computers, which mean moving Lotus Notes. We used to just copy the data folder from the old computer to the new. Now we are wise knowing the the templates get overwritten.

Would the user.id file be included in this?

Yep - told ya I would TRY to remember.

Subject: Some users have local DBs that are important

Make sure you grab any NSFs that the user might need. I’m big on JOURNAL.NSF, for example It has all my meeting notes, code, and other good stuff. If you missed that during a reconfigure I would be sad.- Andy
