Registering user problem

HiSince upgrading to R6, when I register a new user, it places my name in the ACL of their mailfile.

The mail template has entries in it in to populate the mail file and that includes an admin group of which I’m a member.

This didn’t happen in R5 and it’s a pain because I now have to go to each mail file and change the ACl (i/e take myself out)

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Mark.

If you give the user less than manager access then you are put in as manager.

Thanks Peter

I guess it’s so that you don’t lock yourself out.

Bit of a pain because we want users to be editor now.

Thanks anyway

Mark.

There is a Sandbox routine to run on a server to change the ACLs of databases - I presume it could be easily modified to delete a given ACL ()
