Registering a new user

We are in the process of upgrading our Servers to 7.0.2. The Lotus Notes clients will be upgraded later in the year so I will continue to register the Lotus Notes accounts to use the mail6.ntf file that is setup in the Registration settings policy.

Now that the Administration server, Domino Directory and my 3 Clients have been upgraded to 7.0.2 when I register an account the mail6.ntf file is not highlighted on the mail tab. If I do not manually select the mail6 tempate it will create the database using the mail7 template.

Has anyone else had this issue and/or have a fix?

Hi Anne, I don’t know why you have such behaviour but you can be calm.

My experience is that users with mail7.ntf or dwa7.ntf temples can work without problems under Notes 6.0 client. New features like follow-ups, view unread only and etc. are not visible at all under 6 clients.
