hi all,i am using notes 6.5.1 , in my server copy the microsft word is embeded and when i try to open the document i am getting the below error
“An error has occured while processing a request on an object”
when i use the same id and try it in other system it is working fine, even when i try to create microsft object in the designer then also getting same problem , i resinsatlled my notes client also the problem continues, any idea

I am having the same problem on my new PC.
It came preinstalled with Microsoft Works and a trial of MS Office Small Business Edition. I uninstalled both and installed MS Office 2003.
I believe there is some conflict on the Microsoft Office side.
Do you have a similar scenario?

This Microsoft KB article refers to the ole32.dll not being registered correctly. Following the directions to register the dll worked for me
