I’m not a developer but i see possibilities. You could run the script / agent with the server id as a signer (but only if the admin allows it of course, no developer will ever get access to this id for signing of course…) or the ‘run on behalf of’ option. But it all depends on how (well) the environment is set up and if the options are available.

Only an id with Manager Access can make an ACL change. If you have Designer Access, then you either need to “run on behalf of” with a scheduled agent or have a different id with Manager Access sign your scheduled agent.
If you run the agent manually, it’ll run with your access.
