Regarding Intellisense

Hi…I find sometime that in my programmer’s pane the intellisense help.In this case i donot find any intellisense for

DView but I am getting intellisense for MView.

            Dim WS As New NotesUIWorkspace

Dim UIView As NotesUIView

Dim Session As New NotesSession

Dim DB As NotesDatabase	

Dim DView,MView As NotesView

Dim Mdoc,Ddoc As NotesDocument

	

Set DB=Session.CurrentDatabase

            Set MView=DB.GetView("(CMView-CMCode)")    

            Set MDoc = MView.GetDocumentByKey(DDoc.CTCMCode)

            Set DView=DB.GetView("ByCategoryFolder")

Set Ddoc=DView.

Here I are not getting intellisense help of DView whereas I am getting the intellisense.

Can you tell me the reason for that??

Subject: Regarding Intellisense

When you use

Dim DView,MView As NotesView

you are saying that DView is of type Variant, and MView is of type NotesView. You should say

Dim DView As NotesView,MView As NotesView

It is important to specify the type for each variable individually in LotusScript
