I have a dialog list field that gets it’s values from a formula I defined. The formula uses @DBLookup and the key is the value of a previous field. What happens is that when I change the value of the first field (field A), I would like the second field (field B) to get blanked out. The reason is because for some of the values for field A, the value that exists in field B changes, so a previous selection may not be applicable. How can I accomplish this?

Do you mean you want field B blank with no list until field A is selected?

If the option that was previously selected in Field B is not applicable once Field A is changes, I want Field B to be blank, not to keep the previous value.

You should be able to code an input translation formula (fieldb) to do this using @Member or @contains and re-executing your lookup (in the input translation for field b) to see if its a member of the list, if its not, blank out the field via the translation formula.
I don’t have a code example but it should be pretty straightforward.

Thanks a lot Tom! I will try that.
