Refresh of databases never stops! (rather urgent)

The last few days I get the following messages (1000s of them!) in the server console:Starting refresh of database: XXXXX View: YYYYY by user: CN=Della/O=Pap Started at 23/01/2006 01:48:38

Finished update of database: XXXXX View: YYYYY by user: CN=/O= Finished at: 23/01/2006 01:48:39 Total time (seconds) 0

This has not stopped for the last 3 days at least. The server seems to refresh some of the databases constantly.

Any ideas how to stop this?

Thanks in advance

Has somebody created a server program document to run this task?Has someone created a script agent to run this on a schedule?

have you tried just running a full updall -r against it/ Perhaps the view is simply corrupted. Might be worth running a fixup first and a compact afterwards.

You coule always try bouncing the server when you get a chance.

Conrad thanks for the immediate reply.

No server program document has been created and no new agent has been created to do such a thing.

The problem occurs mostly with one database but there are a couple of other ones with the same problem. Also, the problem is not connected with on view, but all the views in the database.

What do you mean by bouncing the server?
