Before we upgraded to Domino 6.5 I could reference the Server LDAP via an outlook client and look up Domino Groups. Now it just wont do it. Cant even see the “everyone” group. Is there some additional configuration I need to do to allow groups to be looked up via LDAP

Yes, the answer is indeed in the “Domino Directory FAQ” (google it) …
Why is Outlook or Outlook Express having problems with Domino LDAP? (ver 3)

Hi Anne The answer is probably in the list Jean-Yves posted but I will post what happened with us at some point we lost our groups in the ldap tree. We were not naming the group in x500 manner and at some point they slid up to the highest point in the tree RootDSE. So a couple things you might want to try
-
download ldapbrowser(http://www.ldapbrowser.com/) it is free
-
if your username is CN=Anne Cull/OU=Test/O=ABC and you usually name your groups without an O, create a test group with a name of TestGroup/ABC where ABC is the Org in your name. Then look at LDAP browser and see if you can see the group.

BTW, please read for details. The Domino LDAP server is actually compensating for Outlook slipping in C=US into the naming hierarchy behind your back…
