Hi:
Is there a way by which if two files called vx.nsf and vn.nsf exist and have same document like same mail for example.
Then I want to have single mail in the server and the index of that in my local machine to save space on the server.
Is it possible. reply soon

Subject: redundancy in .nsf files
Hi guys:
Ex: A particular user sends a mail to 30 of his group members. Now this single email gets stored in 30 different .nsf files of each user.
in the server.
Now,I wanna save memory on the lotus server.
Is it possible to have a indexing technique where by this mail is stored only once in the server and the index is sent to the 30 people.
Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

The “real” Notes method would be to create a document in a commonly-accessible database, then send a link message to the thirty other users rather than sending everything to everybody.

what is vx.nsf or vn.nsf? I am not understanding the significance of those databases.

Do you mean shared mail? Check the Administrator help on it, it might be what you want.
