Hello Herbert,Our company has been evaluating this tool since December of 2005 and have made a proposal to purchase the Archive tool. My role in the evaluating process has been that of a domino administrator. We have been excited about this product as it pretty much makes the user experience invisible. In other words, they will probably not notice that their archive is on another server. This tool will retrieve any archived documents that are opened by the client and pull the document back into the original folder in the server mail file. The iNotes client will offer a link to the client, if they open it, but the behavior is the same. It restores the mail document and original document back into the mail file. One thing we have come across that we are going to test and possibly need to re-code are agents that are triggered by “After New Mail Arrives”. The archive tool adds a field to the document and the After New Mail Arrives triggers. This is manageable, but requires more testing and up front planning.
