Is it possible to upgrade from 6.0.x to 6.5? If not, what files do I need to transfer from a pre-6.5 server, besides users’ mail databases, to the 6.5 server without re-configure the whole new server?

Subject: If you’re migrating to another machine,
make sure to have the notes.ini, the names.nsf and the server.id. Install ND6.5 on the new hardware, copy these files into their appropriate places, make sure the notes.ini is correct for the new situation, and you should be done.
