Redefine application links in workspace

IBM Lotus Notes running on Windows 7 Pro

Please excuse my lack of IBM / LOTUS Notes nomenclature:

We need to decommission a local server that currently is used as a replication of one of our corporate servers. This local server hosts many applications/knowledgebases to our local clients. Is there a way to update the client workspaces in bulk to redirect the links from one server to the other?

For example: I have several applications on my workspace that are similar to “Info Center on LocalServer01” and need to redefine them so that they point to ( for example ) “Info Center on CorpServer01” Is there a command, script, file/registry edit that can be used to redefine everything that currently points to “LocalServer01” to “CorpServer01”?

Thanks in advance……

Subject: Use the admin client

I would simply use the Administration client.

If you have a replica of the same database on the corporate server, just delete the database on teh local server. You get a dialog box asking you if you want to permanently delete the database from the server. Here you can set a redirect to the correct server.

See Imgur: The magic of the Internet

If you don’t have a replica on the corporate server, use teh move function. You can set a redirect marker there too.

Subject: will try…

Will try that and post results.
