Red X when trying to view images

I run Notes 6.0.2 CF1 on a Windows XP machine and a Domino 5.0.11 server. I upgraded from notes 5.0.12. I have always had the problem that when receiveing internet email I get boxes containing a red x where the image should be. We have tried all the solutions, including trying the proxy in the location document. Nothing has ever worked. I finally gave up on it, and accepted that was the way it was going to be, but now the problem is growing. Now i’m getting internal E-mail (never sent via the web or even outside our building) that includes print screens and it still has that Red x on it. I know this worked for the first 2 users that forwarded it, but now for me it’s not working.

Subject: Resource not accessible

In both cases it means that you don’t have access to a specific resource. In this case an image. For the Notes scenario: was the image a Shared Resource? That is what I have experienced. Someone send me a email with a picture in it. It was a Shared Image from a db I didn’t have access to. So when I opened the mail I saw a red X …

No, actually this was someone pasted a print screen into the email. The user saw the image when they copied it and sent it, but when I got it, it wasn’t there. Just the red x.
