Red Box of Death When Exporting From a View

G’day.

Got an interesting issue when exporting from a view in Lotus Notes.

When using the inbuilt Notes file export functionality i.e. ‘file’ - ‘export’, and use this for either .csv or .123, 90% of the time I get a red box of death. I can’t identify a pattern in generating this error, seems pretty random to me.

I have a copy of this database in a staging environment that is identical to this one however it presents no issues when exporting. The only difference is the copy in staging has several thousand documents in it and the production around 750 000. Has anyone ever experienced this or have and ideas??

To me is sounds like a buffer that exceeds some limit.

A solution might be to write your own export function. It can be done, but is less generic.
