When Notes 8.5 starts a Yes/No dialog pops up… “You have 1 unsaved document(s). Do you want to recover these documents now?” When I click Yes a “Recover Unsaved Documents” dialog appears but the list of recoverable documents is empty. I’d like to get rid of this annoyance. Any ideas?

Subject: Try opening the autosave db itself…
Sorry to hear about this inconvenience you’re having/ Try opening the autosave db which should be named something like as_jmitchell.nsf. There should be only one view in that db from which you can delete any documents that are listed in that view. That should take care of the error you’re getting.
Subject: Deleting Autosave DBs Fixes Problem
Per my earlier comment, I found 3 x Austosave DBs in Notes/Data, all different sizes and all apparently empty when opened. Closing Notes, removing all 3 DBs and restarting Notes has done the trick.

I had the same issue (due to my own mistake of importing my exchange archives into my Lotus autosave archive… oops!)
As you said, deleting the autosave database seems to have worked flawlessly

Subject: Multiple autosave DBs
Thanks for the suggestion. It seems I have 3 autosave DBs - as_Jmitchell, as_Jmitchell1, and as_Jmitchell2. I have opened all of them and there is (apparently) nothing in any of them although they are all different sizes - 25.5MB, 39.2MB, and 54.2MB respectively.
Can I delete these without living to regret my actions later?
