I have been using ID recovery since it was introduced. It has never caused a problem. I used it in 8.0 with no problems. Now I am in 8.0.1. Everything is set up and working.
When I do “Configuration->Tools->Certification->Recover ID”, I am prompted to select the users ID file that I have detached from the ID Archive database. I am then prompted to enter my password. I use my password that I have just used to login. But it says my password is incorrect.
I have had 5 other people try the same thing. It will not recognize any of our user passwords.
What is up?
