I have a user whose user.id has expired. He doesn’t connect to a server, and only uses the ND6 client for internet email. Is there a way to recertify the user.id file locally? Is the cert.id file on the local machine? Thanks in advance for your help.

I haven’t tried this but I’d think he could backup his notes.ini file, then delete all but the first three lines of it and delete his ID file, then start the client. It should run through the setup wizard again, asking for his name and he can specify that he doesn’t want to connect to a server. This will create a new ID file. Then, he can close the client and replace the new notes.ini file with the backed up-one.
