Recertify expired notes id

Hi all,

my notes id certificate has been expired. i tried to renew the certificate by logging using server.id, but when i try to recertify the notes user, i receive “could not open administration request database on the registiration server: file does not exist” . But i can see certsrv.nsf in the server files. I need your advices to recertify notes id.

Hi

When we do re certification of an id, a request goes into admin4.nsf database and then adminp process process that request.

According to the error this database is missing.

The database that you mentioned certsrv.nsf is used to creating, installing keyring and installing certificates into keyring.

For notes id’s certificates records are tracked in certlog.nsf

thanks for the reply, i checked domino server and admin4.nsf exist there. What shall i check now?

I solved the problem.Login to Domino Admin with server.id. Then add a standart user as server admins/full access admins. Then login with that users id file to Domino Admin and recertify notes user. Dont forget to remove rights of the temporary admin user at the end!
