Recertify-Certify person

Hi,

I’m using the administrator client and I don’t know what is the difference between:

1)from the “People & Groups” tab select a person and from the Tools pane select Recertify

2)from “Configuration” tab, open the Tools pane, select Certify and pick the user’s ID to recertify it

If anyone could help me,

Using 1) U can recertify the user id without the user’s id file

and in 2) we need the user’s id file for recertification…

In both cases the certifier id’s are compulsory…

If you ‘Re-Certify’ a person you’ll have to select the person document & then certifier ID is required.In this case if a person document contains User ID File, the users’ certificates shall be renewed in both, i.e. Person document & user.id.

In the second case you’ll have to provide Certifier ID & than you select the desired ID file to be ‘certified’.
