We have lots of users from two different organizations all on the same domino server. We need to divide the users now between 2 servers and want to divide them by organization.
Can I build a new server using a different certifier, then can I move users from one server to a new server with a different organization? Or would I have to recertify all the users we need to move?
If anyone knows of a technote or something to guide me through setting up a server with a different Organization, that would be appreciated. TIA. Bob
We had some sort of “problem” couple of months ago.
If you have all the certs (Including the organization one) then you might be able to just install a new server in the domain that you require and then make a “Move user”.
Keep in mind you will have to mess with the amdin4.nsf cross-domain access (It’s a setting in the database) to give all the domains the proper access to move the users.
I would create a test server but I don’t think you will need to recertify them.
