Using 6.5.1Trying to test the new “workplace” welcome page for a corporate rollout. I noticed that the basic tab has “recent messages” which should display messages from the last 8 hours but it displays every message from the inbox.
Anyone know where to correct it, I have searched the forum but could not find any information.

It is correct that it shows all messages in your inbox. Your cursor will land on the first unread message that appears after the spot where you “last left your cursor”.

I thought the basic tab was only to show “today’s mail”, what is the point of having the inbox on the basic and collaboration tab?FYI - Deb, thanks for your comments, asking questions this way is much easier than scratching my head or driving the lotus support people crazy when I call in…

When we first conceived of the ‘Domino Workplace’, the “Today” tab was thought to be useful for “morning tasks”. This is where people go to see their new mail in the morning, see what’s on today’s calendar etc. (Note that on the Today tab you have the option of switcing to any other view in your mail database.)
For Collaboration, the dev group simply felt that, for folks who just used Today for morning activities, a view from Mail should still be available. Hence the Inbox/All Documents frame.
